The Performance Program
Specialist weekly care for horses expected to perform at their best.
The Sabre Ranch Performance Program provides ongoing, individually tailored support for competition and performance horses through Equine NeuroAlchemy™.
Developed by award-winning Equine Rehabilitation Specialist Hannah Jones BSc, MMCP, this unique approach considers the horse as a whole - integrating physical function, nervous system regulation, biomechanics, behaviour and wellbeing.
Rather than addressing individual symptoms in isolation, we look at the interconnected factors that influence how your horse feels, moves, responds and performs.
The goal? A horse that is physically comfortable, mentally available and better equipped to meet the demands of training and competition.

What Does the Program Involve?
Consistent care. Individualised support. Meaningful progress.
Your horse receives dedicated weekly Equine NeuroAlchemy™ sessions, delivered at your training facility or ranch.
Each program is tailored to the individual horse, incorporating the most appropriate combination of:
-
Therapeutic Bodywork: Addressing muscular tension, restrictions and compensatory patterns that may affect comfort and movement.
-
Nervous System Regulation: Supporting relaxation, adaptability and the horse’s ability to recover from physical and mental stress.
-
Biomechanical Assessment: Observing movement, posture and physical patterns that may influence performance.
-
Behavioural Support: Exploring the relationship between physical discomfort, stress and behavioural responses.
-
Remedial Saddle Assessment: Identifying potential tack-related restrictions that may be influencing comfort and performance.
-
Ongoing Performance Support: Monitoring changes, adapting the approach and working alongside your existing trainer, veterinarian and other equine professionals.
One horse. One integrated approach. A programme built around their individual needs.
Sessions take place weekly for a month, with progress reviewed and the program adapted as their needs evolve.
Does Your Horse Need This Program?
Consider the horse beneath the performance.
Is your horse:
-
Performing well, but you’re determined to protect their longevity?
-
Showing subtle changes in movement, responsiveness or willingness?
-
Carrying tension or struggling to relax after training?
-
Becoming reactive, resistant or inconsistent?
-
Finding certain manoeuvres more difficult than others?
-
Preparing for a major competition or returning to work?
-
Receiving excellent training and routine care, but still not quite performing to their potential?
Or perhaps nothing appears wrong - and you’d like to keep it that way.
You don’t have to wait for a problem to become obvious before investing in your horse’s wellbeing.
The most valuable time to support your horse may be before small changes develop into bigger limitations.
An Investment In The Horse Behind Your Success
You’ve invested in breeding, training, veterinary care, farriery and developing your horse’s potential.
But training alone cannot address every factor influencing performance.
A horse may understand exactly what’s being asked yet struggle to deliver it consistently because of physical restriction, tension or difficulty regulating stress.
What looks like a training problem isn’t always a training problem.
Equine NeuroAlchemy™ helps explore what may be happening beneath the surface, providing an additional layer of specialist support to your existing performance program.
Whether you’re developing a promising young horse or maintaining an established competitor, the aim is the same:
Protect longevity. Maximise potential. Support performance.
Your horse gives you everything. Give them the support to keep doing it.
